Mark Bessenger's romantic drama The Last Straight Man focuses on the unconventional relationship between Lewis and Cooper. Lewis, who is gay, has long had a crush on his best friend, the heterosexual Cooper. However, after a drunken night, the pair end up becoming intimate. They agree to renew their physical relationship on the same night every year, and the film plays out over the course of four of those nights.
