Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Filmmaker Ken Bielenberg profiles the performance group that describes themselves as "America's only self-supporting, multi-person, out, queer, drag-a-pella, political comedy revue" in this documentary highlighting the travails of life on the road and the attempts of a queer group to come to terms with their own growing success. Having previously performed sold-out shows on college campuses across the nation, The Kinsey Sicks find themselves courting true mainstream success when faced with the prospect of an open-ended run at the Las Vegas Hilton. Will the group soften their emotional edge in order to appeal to a wider audience, and how will they hold up under the constant demands of daily performances? As the negotiations to perform at the Hilton get underway, the members of The Kinsey Sicks find themselves faced with a series of issues that they never had to consider as a traveling act.
