Set in a racially and economically diverse city neighborhood, the Kids of Degrassi Street series is famous for dealing with the real challenges involved with growing up. Stories are told from the kids' point of view, demonstrating the struggle in the choices they make. In this episode, Pete borrows money from Lisa for a business endeavor. It pays off, but rather than pay Lisa back, Pete uses the money to buy raffle tickets and remains indebted to her.
