After 14 years of faithful service to his employer, Michael Walden is devastated to learn that he has been laid off. Michael's day goes from bad to worse when the bank forecloses on his house, and his fiancée breaks off their engagement. Drowning his sorrows in front of the television, Michael begins to question his own sanity when Life Coach Jack Canfield appears onscreen and addresses him personally. Jack has a plan to pull Michael's life out of a tailspin, and he's called on a few friends to help pull off this formidable feat.
