Synopsis by Hal Erickson

The title character in this episode is Bill Simpson (Ford Lile), former beau of Louise Jefferson (Isabel Sanford). Louise would like to keep a dinner date with Bill, but she doesn't want to incur the jealousy of her husband, George (Sherman Hemsley). Thus, Louise prevails upon her housekeeper, Florence (Marla Gibbs), to take her place and go out with Bill. The fun begins when the "real" Louise shows up at the same restaurant -- with George in tow.
