Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Louise Jefferson (Isabel Sanford) discovers that her maid, Florence (Marla Gibbs), is about to be evicted from her condemned apartment building. Ever generous, Louise offers Florence a full-time job as the Jeffersons' live-in housekeeper. Only one problem: Louise's husband, George (Sherman Hemsley), knows nothing about this offer -- and if he did, heaven help Louise!
