Captured live at the Center for Jewish History in New York City, this 2004 master class by jazz legend Cecil Taylor begins as Taylor performs for a group of appreciative music students, and follows along as he offers constructive feedback to his audience. By allowing the students the opportunity to perform for him and then commenting on how they might improve their playing skills, Taylor passes along his vast musical knowledge to a new generation of aspiring musicians. Later, the students contrast the expectations they walked in with against their thoughts of how the class went.
