Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This two-reeler from the Mack Sennett studios is short on plot and heavy on slapstick, but it has a solid cast. Andy Clyde plays a Kentucky Colonel who is much more than enthusiastic about horse racing. In the midst of describing a particularly exciting race to his guests, a telegram shows up announcing the arrival of his horse and jockey. Everybody heads to the stables. The jockey has deserted, but there's a tramp (Billy Bevan), who is on the lam from the police, and he is hiding out in the stables. He finds it wise to pose as the jockey and agrees to ride the horse in an upcoming race. He manages to get himself in trouble, however, and both he and his steed wind up behind bars. They manage to escape in time to enter the race. In spite of numerous comic mishaps, the tramp is able to ride the horse to victory.
