Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Charismatic American athlete Kevin Sheppard travels to Iran to play basketball, and gradually overcomes his many preconceived notions about the Islamic nation while experiencing the generosity of his benevolent hosts, and connecting with three outspoken women who offer their own candid opinions on religion and politics. Meanwhile, as basketball season draws to a close, Iran's reformist Green Movement rises up, only to be suppressed by the powers that be in the run-up to the Arab Spring.
