Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Although they appeared to have perished in the flames in chapter 11 of The Indians Are Coming, Jack Manning (Tim McCoy) and Mary Woods (Allene Ray) make it out of the burning hotel. The Indians, meanwhile, are chased away by the cavalry and Bull McGee (Bud Osborne) warns Rance Carter (Wilbur McGaugh) that it is now "every man for himself." The cowardly Carter is hunted down by Chief Yellow Skin and is killed when he cannot procure Mary. When the survivors return to the Woods cabin, they find a dying Bull McGee, who admits to having taken a shot at Jack in the saloon on Carter's behalf. Jack comforts Mary and moments later they are joined by a wounded but very much alive Bill Williams (Edmund Cobb), who had miraculously escaped the Indians. Deciding to stay with George Woods (Francis Ford), Jack announces his plans for marrying Mary.
