For her 25th year of earthly existence, Mitzi Bearclaw (MorningStar Angeline) has grand plans: design hats that will affect change in the world and spend time with her beloved boyfriend Ringo Leaves-No-Shadow (Vance Banzo) in Toronto. Unfortunately for her, none of these is in the cards to happen as she is called home to the remote Owl Island to take care of her mother, who she heard is already on her deathbed. Upon her arrival, she immediately learns that a lot of what she has been told isn't true—one of which is her mother’s condition. Written and directed by Shelley Niro.
