Synopsis by Hal Erickson

In the second episode of The Hurrican Express, aviator Larry Baker (John Wayne) continues to seek out the mysterious "Wrecker", the man responsible for the death of Larry's railroad-engineer father. A trap has been set for the "Wrecker" on the Hurricane Express, which is carrying a huge gold shipment. The villain manages to board the train wearing a rubber mask to make him look like the conductor, but while he and his minions manage to steal the gold, Larry manages to prevent the destruction of the Express. Meanwhile, Larry's girl friend Gloria tries to keep her escaped-convict father Frank (Edmund Breese), who has sworn revenge against railroad executive Edwards (Tully Marshall), from being recaptured. The episode's cliffhanger ending finds Larry manning the controls of the "Wrecker"'s plane--when suddenly a fire breaks out on board.
