Synopsis by Katy Miller
Awkward teen Sebastian (Asa Butterfield) lives a sheltered life in a geodesic dome with his Nana (Ellen Burstyn), a devotee to the philosophies of architect Buckminster Fuller. After Nana has a stroke, Sebastian befriends a fellow outsider, brash punk rocker Jared (Alex Wolff), who is rebelling against his overbearing religious father (Nick Offerman). Together, they form a band on a quest to discover who they are outside the control of adults. Maude Apatow and Michaela Watkins co-star. Written and directed by Peter Livolsi. Based on Peter Bognanni’s novel of the same name.
