This film documents the growing, worldwide popularity of Judo while profiling some of the martial art's most accomplished competitors. Segments feature such experts as Toshiro Daigo, Anton Geesink, Isao Okano, and David Douillet. Viewers will learn how Daigo competed with over 1,000 other judo experts during his travels to Africa and the Americas, and discover how Anton Geesink trained before winning the 1964 gold medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. Isao Okano's and David Douillet's unique contributions to Judo are also covered.
