Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This one-reel Vim comedy makes little sense, which is typical for many of the comic shorts of the 1910s. It's mainly an excuse for Oliver Hardy and Billy Ruge to show off their talent for executing gags, and for female lead Ray Godfrey to show off her talents as a high diver (not to mention her curvaceous figure in a swimsuit). Plump (Hardy) and Runt (Ruge) are schoolboys who spend most of their time disrupting the classroom and flirting with the prettiest girl in class (Godfrey). When the circus comes to town, its agent (Joe Cohen) convinces the girl that the circus life is for her, and she hires on. Plump and Runt are dismayed to find out that their girl has run off with the circus and chase after her. They find her working the high dive, and after she dives, they jump in the water after her. Mayhem ensues, the big top falls on the circus agent, and Plump and Runt run off with their sweetheart.
