Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Frank Mayo has a double role in this light comedy, as the wealthy Lynn Morril and as Tom Ward, a burglar. When Ward tries to break into Morril's seaside home, reporter Jean Kelly (Lillian West), sees him and decides to stick around and get the story. Ward is caught by Morril, who notices the close resemblance and decides to use this to his advantage. His Aunt Mary (Ruth Lackaye) wants him to marry her daughter, Lillian (Jimsy Maye), and he wants to avoid this at all costs. So he pays Ward to pose as him while the women are visiting and then takes off, dragging a reluctant Jean along with him. They go off on his motorboat, but Jean leaps into the water. Morril has to rescue her and they both land on an island. After Morril builds a raft, they float back to shore. They find Ward disgracing himself at a ball. Morril sends him on his way and then introduces Jean to one and all as his fiancee.
