Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Before she became the Roaring Twenties' "Queen of the Nightclubs," Texas Guinan was a cowgirl actress par excellence. During the late 1910s, she was known as the female Bill Hart, and woe to any bad guy who got in her way. In this Western, released by the Frohman Amusement Corporation, Guinan is Meg Carter, the daughter of the proprietor of the Hell's Agony Saloon. When Carter is killed in a brawl, Meg takes over and runs the saloon herself. She stops any fighting with the help of her six-shooters and her tough attitude. This isn't enough to scare away Brian McTavish (Jack Richardson), who tries to take advantage of Meg. Bad Lands O'Connor (George Chesbro) comes to her rescue and earns the enmity of McTavish. The villain attempts to pin a round of murders on O'Connor and convinces an angry mob to lynch him. But Meg shows up and challenges McTavish to a test of marksmanship, with O'Connor's life in the balance. She wins and marries O'Connor.
