Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Produced by Robert Z. Leonard's Tiffany films and released by Metro, French Doll serves as a showcase for Leonard's dazzlingly beautiful wife Mae Murray. The star plays Georgine Mauzlier, a winsome French lass dealing in fake antiques as a means of supporting her family. Georgine's far-from-grateful parents intend to further exploit her by marrying her off to American millionaire Wellington Wick (Orville Caldwell). At first, the girl despises her arranged husband, but eventually realizes how much he loves her, and she him. Frances Marion's screenplay was adapted from a play by Paul Armont and Marcel Gebidou.
