Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Veteran Western player Francis Ford (brother of John) conjured up this strange melodrama of four people spending the winter in a mountain cabin with only copies of The Count of Monte Cristo and The Bible for company. The film then features several tableaux culled from the first-mentioned work. Ford, who produced and directed as well as starred, cast B-Western heroine Peggy O'Day (who was also credited with the screenplay) and his children, Phil and Billie Ford, in the other roles. Photographed by Mark Thwaited, the allegorical drama was released by Poverty Row company Goodwill.
