Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The independently produced The Fog was adapted from a popular novel by William Dudley Pelly. Idealistic young Nathan Forge (Cullen Landis) publishes a poem about the "ideal woman." Forge's description perfectly matches Madelaine Theddon (Mildred Harris), who falls in love with the young poet without ever meeting him. When they finally do meet, it is after both have suffered deprivations, disappointments and near-death in the WW I battlefields of France. Louise Fazenda adds much-needed comedy relief to this four-hanky romantic drama.
