Uncouth caveman Fred gets conked on the noggin, whereupon he undergoes a complete change of personality. Our hero's alter ego "Frederick", who speaks with an erudite British accent, is suave, sophisticated. . .and quite insufferable, as least as far as his wife Wilma and his neighbors Barney and Betty are concerned. The episode's highlight is "Frederick"'s sublimely offkey rendition of the "Sextet From Lucia"; also, listen for the voice of Howard McNear (aka "Floyd the Barber" on The Andy Griffith Show) as Fred's befuddled doctor.
