Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Even though he was banned from starring in films after a scandal in which a girl died, Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle was still able to make a living as a director of comedies, mostly short subjects. Billed as William Goodrich, he worked for a while at Educational, and his two-reelers often got excellent notices. This Lupino Lane comedy was very well received. Lane plays a wealthy young man in love with a girl (Virginia Vance) who is throwing a party. Another man (Wallace Lupino) also loves her, and he figures out a way to get Lane ejected from the festivities. Determined to get revenge, Lane goes to a gym and finds a trainer (Glen Cavender). After six weeks of learning how to fight, Lane tracks down his rival -- who soundly thrashes Lane. Another bout is set up a month later, and Lane is beaten again. Finally, Lane spies his rival with the girl on the links, and goes after him. This time he beats the guy into a pulp -- but the girl runs off with two other suitors.
