Hair-raising action for Simon Templar (Roger Moore), Leslie Charteris' famous rogue adventurer, The Saint, about a gang who bring an author's characters to life to pull off the crime of the century. Gang boss (Kenneth J Warren) discovers in a novel a plan ingenious enough to achieve the impossible and decides to give it a shot in real life. He follows the plot precisely. An entire fictional headquarters is re-created and all the characters are cast and the scheme is set in motion. The Saint stumbles onto the caper and has his hands full as he crosses the fictitious line between make believe and reality in a deadly no-man's zone.
