Synopsis by Cammila Collar
This hard hitting documentary takes a look at the prejudice and discrimination faced by women in the African country of Malawi who suffer from HIV/AIDS. Chronicling the conclusion of a study by the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham law School, the film reveals the physical, economic, cultural, and emotional abuse discovered by the researchers, in a nation where over half of the HIV/AIDS infected population are female.
