Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
A typical early silent Civil War melodrama, this one-reeler featured the team of Grace Cunard and Francis Ford, the older brother of director John Ford. Cunard played a Southern girl in love with two brothers, both of whom enlist in the Union army. The younger of the brother was played by Charles Ray in his first major role. Ray would go on to become a major star of bucolic romances only to go bankrupt with his own production company.
