Synopsis by Janiss Garza

According to this drama, the 11th commandment was "Thou shalt marry none but the man thou lovest." Right off the bat, Dora Chester (Lucille Lee Stewart) is prepared to break that commandment -- she turns down Robert Stanton, the man she "lovest" (Huntly Gordon), in favor of Kenneth Royce (Walter Miller), who she believes is rich. But Royce is really living by his wits, and when he loses his money in the stock market, he forces Dora to lend him a large sum of money that she has been entrusted with. He loses that, too, and Dora takes the rap and is sent to prison. Her mother (Grace Reals) dies from the shock. When Dora is released, she meets Stanton again, who refuses to listen to the tale of her misfortune and proposes once more. She accepts and they are happy until Royce shows up and tries to blackmail her. Dora refuses to give him any money, and calls her husband so Royce can tell all. While Royce is revealing Dora's past, however, a policeman finds him and a struggle ensues. Royce is shot, but before he dies, he confesses he was the one who was the troublemaker in the first place. Stewart, the sister of silent star Anita Stewart, was also the wife of director Ralph Ince.
