Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Eli (Tuvia Tavi) is a young man and aspiring artist working at a retirement home. He develops an affection for Rachel (Berta Litvina), one of the residents who is genuinely interested in him as an artist and possible lover. Rachel gives way to the moody teenage girl (Leora Rivlin) when she realizes the two young people could be meant for each other. Eli is shielded from the outside world at his job, and Rachel rightfully worries about his survival in a harsh society. A concert is given, and when the musicians refuse to let one of the residents play violin with them, the group walks out as the music begins. Flashbacks are employed to give historical perspective in this touching drama.
