Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Canadian musical-comedy performer and ubiquitous variety-show guest star Dougl Crosley briefly hosted his own TV series from the tiny but prolific studios of CBC's Winnipeg branch. Previously a mellow-voiced balladeer, Crosley had recently adopted a "hip" new country & western image, and his series reflected this career change. Perry Rosemond was responsible for creating the series, while busy Winnipeg orchestra leader Dave Shaw wielded the baton. The Doug Crosley Show was seen in a weekly half-hour Saturday night time slot from June 16 to July 21, 1973.
