Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
Wellspring presents another entry in the biographical series The Directors. Beginning as a comedy troupe in the late '60s, the trio of Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker later went on to create some of the most popular spoof films in the history of film, including Airplane! and Naked Gun. The Directors: Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker traces the history of the group, through film clips and interviews with such stars as Patrick Swayze, Robert Stack, and Julie Hagerty.
