Having read an article about how contemporary males are "dominated" by contemporary females, Buddy (Morey Amsterdam) ribs Rob (Dick Van Dyke) about his relationship with wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore). At first pooh-poohing the notion that Laura has him under her thumb, Rob begins to resent the fact that she expects him to run minor errands as a matter of course. This leads Rob to yearn for the "good old days," when men were men and women knew their place. A typically hilarious Dick Van Dyke Show nightmare causes Rob to change his mind in a hurry!
