While visiting the New England village of Hobb's Landing with his friend and therapist Bruce (John L. Adams), Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) envisions the murder of a young girl -- and also sees himself being burned at the stake. In his efforts to alert the authorities of his visions, Johnny finds himself accused of witchcraft. As both Bruce and reporter Dana (Kristen Dalton) try to save Johnny's life, he himself comes to the horrifying conclusion that the girl's murder has not really taken place -- and that the "victim" may in fact be a perpetrator.
