Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Twenty years after witnessing his mother's murder at the hands of a maniacal mute, a man returns to his hometown and sees a bloody mystery beginning to unfold. James Harrison was just eight years old when he saw his mother murdered by Kyle Burnett. But the scar that James got on his neck that day was nothing compared to the psychic trauma inflicted upon him during the brutal attack, and two decades later he's ready to sell his family home. With his wife by his side, James returns to Fairview and picks up his therapy sessions with local psychiatrist Dr. Phillips. Later, James begins to experience a series of disturbing blackouts, and begins to feel as if he's caught between a world of beautiful light, and a realm of unimaginable darkness. Later, when a therapeutic doll constructed by Burnett goes missing, a wave of death washes over Fairview, leaving the authorities baffled and James fearing for his life. A killer in a black raincoat is stalking the streets, and somehow James knows all the details of each brutal murder. Now, with the town of Fairview in the cold grip of fear, James must venture deep into his own subconscious in order to stop the madman once and for all.
