Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A Seattle-based ballet teacher discovers that salvation can sometimes appear in the most unlikely of forms after learning that her father is suffering from dementia and returning to her childhood home on Orcas Island. Just when it seemed as if everything in Dana's life was falling apart, the unbreakable spirit of her mother's magnificent Fresian horse offers new hope for a future that once seemed lost. Her family's farm has been threatened with foreclosure, but perhaps if Dana could train her mother's wildly unpredictable Fresian horse she could score a crucial victory in the year's biggest dressage competition. A solid win might save the farm from foreclosure, but breaking this horse will prove the least of Dana's troubles as her brothers cling stubbornly to an old family feud and her father slips slowly away.
