Synopsis by Erin Demers
This intense German drama based on the 1915 Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire follows Nazareth Manogian (Tahar Rahim), a young Armenian man who was ripped from his family and sent to a labor camp. After surviving being shot in the neck during an extermination line up, a battered and mute Nazareth returns home to find his family gone. When informed that his twin daughters may still be alive he travels the world in search of them. Directed by Fatih Akin.
