Synopsis by Janiss Garza
With a kid (Frankie Lee) and dog (Highland Laddie) in the leads, this programmer was bound to make money for most local theaters. Frankie lives with his parents near a prospectors' camp. He saves a puppy whose owner wants to kill him. The young pup escapes to the wild, where he is raised by wolves. The dog takes to the ways of the wild and gains a reputation as a vicious animal. Frankie, not realizing that the hated creature is his old pal, goes hunting for the "wolf" that has been terrorizing the countryside. He finds the dog caught in a trap. After freeing him, they become friends once again. Then the boy gets caught in a trap that his father has set. The dog finds the search party and brings them to the boy. The men are about to kill the dog, but once again Frankie saves him. The animal becomes docile and tame because of Frankie's care and devotion.
