Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Though the title of this cartoon is a play on The Brothers Karamazov, Tom and Jerry waste no time in Dostoevski-style introspection. Relaxing beside his mini-swimming pool, Jerry is alerted to the approach of Tom by his closed-circuit TV. Tom is carrying a box containing all sorts of delicious food, the better to lure Jerry into the cat's clutches. Jerry wards Tom off with a convenient mallet, but the flattened tabby refuses to be slowed down. Finally, both Tom and Jerry resort to elaborate disguises, with the cat winning first prize for his portrayal of a gorgeous, guitar-strumming female mouse.
