Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
This documentary written and directed by Covington Catholic High School alumni Jonathan Schroder, covers the controversy surrounding the March for Life rally in Washington, D.C in January 2019. The footage taken by the media shows a student of Covington appear to smirk in mockery of Nathan Phillips, a Native American elder performing a ceremonial dance. What followed was a whirlwind of misinformation, mistruth and misreporting, devastating lives and reputations in its midst. Schroder explores the whole picture including what the media neglected to cover in this investigative documentary.
