Synopsis by Alice Day
Just as many nations use the seas and its resources, those same countries should work to preserve its natural abundance. However, this is seldom the case, and there will always be those who are lax in regulating usage of the oceans. In The Blue Revolution: Whose Sea This Is, the question of ownership and laws governing the use of the water is discussed. The oceans have been used as a resource for food, energy, and minerals to sustain human life, and as a means of bolstering economies through trade. Countries who have grown wealthy through this trade must face serious environmental concerns regarding the oceans.
