Synopsis by Steven Yoder
The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic, directed by Teemu Nikki, is a Finnish love story with unlikely protagonists. Jaakko is blind and uses a wheelchair due to multiple sclerosis. But he's also a cinephile with boundless knowledge and movie quotes. His long-distance romantic partner, Sirpa, has cancer and thrives on their daily phone conversation. When her cancer takes a turn for the worse, Jaakko sets out to visit her in person, encountering roadblocks to his journey - some because of his disability and some despite it - at every turn.
