Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Lola Albright guest stars as gold-digging bank secretary Gloria Buckles (inside joke: Gloria Buckles was the name of series creator Paul Henning's secretary). Determined to get her well-manicured hands on the Clampett millions, Gloria decides to trap Jed Clampett into matrimony. She is helped along by a few doses of Granny's "spring tonic" -- but of course the faithful viewers of The Beverly Hillbillies knew that Gloria's plan would explode before the final commercial. "Granny's Spring Tonic" made its first network appearance on March 27, 1963.
