An Egyptian businessman is hit with the worst case of mistaken identity in history in this satiric comedy-drama from director Adel Adeeb. Houssam (Mahmoud Abdel Aziz) is an Egyptian travel agent whose work has taken him to New York City, where he's been living for a year. Houssam's wife Samiha (Solaf Fawakhergy) still lives in Cairo, and when he gets work that he's being sent back home for an American-Egyptian Friendship Committee conference, he's excited that he'll get to spend New Years Eve with her. Houssam and Samiha had been trying to have a baby before he left, and after seeing a doctor in New York, he's certain his problem with low sperm count is a thing of the past. Houssam heads to the airport with a special present for Samiha, a sexy nightgown, but it doesn't take long for things to go awry. Sarah (Layla Olwi) is the daughter of a survivor of Hitler's death camps who has become an outspoken advocate of diplomacy through economics, and she's been invited to speak at the conference even though her views have earned the enmity of a number of Middle Eastern activists. Awadain (Nour El Sherif), who bears the scars of abuse at the hands of American forces at Abu Ghraib, intends to use Sarah's speech as an opportunity for a terrorist bombing, and when Awadain and Houssam's bags are switched, the mind-mannered man eager for a few romantic nights with his wife is tagged as an international terrorist.
