Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The only characters who matter in the British The Awakening are played by Eric Elliot, Eve Gray and Rex Walker. Elliot plays an experienced doctor, Walker his young assistant. Both fall in love with Eve Gray, though it takes Elliot a while to catch on that he has a rival. The right person goes off with the other right person at the end, as everyone expects. A few good lines notwithstanding The Awakening is another "quota quickie" of little distinction.
