In the 1980s, Chuck Connelly became one of the most respected artists on the New York art scene. Over the course of many years, his refusal to compromise his cherished beliefs about his own art alienated him from almost all of that scene's influential power brokers. This documentary, shot during a tumultuous six years, showcases Connelly's outsized personalities, the steps he now takes to get his art sold, and offers an inside look at the ins and outs of the modern art world.
