Synopsis
Documentary on a handful of screenwriters who sent unsolicited scripts to John Malkovich's Mr. Mudd Productions. Malkovich performs scenes from the scripts; his staff discusses the huge volume of mail received; and the authors talk about rejection. The writers include a Wisconsin working mom; a tax examiner with a self-described "mood disorder"; a Philadelphia frogman; and an L.A.-based actor.
