Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The British The Amazing Partnership is based on a mystery novel by J. Robert Oppenheim, who liked nothing better than to pose "impossible" puzzles and then solve them with cool logic. The plot is motivated by a cache of valuable jewels, seemingly stolen in plain sight of several witnesses. Lady detective Gladys Mason snoops about, stares long and hard at the statue of an oriental idol, and solves the mystery. Milton Rosmer, a British actor/director of considerable standing, plays the person whose gems are stolen: apropos to his imperious characterization, his name is "Pryde".
