Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Making its first BBC appearance in 1989, the British game show That's Showbusiness required its contestants to be experts in the field of show-biz trivia. Originally, each episode featured two teams of three players, with celebrities acting as team captains. As the show progressed, the "civilian" contestants were eliminated in favor of an all-celebrity lineup. Created by Jeremy Pascall, That's Showbusiness survived until 1995.
