The Clowns are a New Wave rock group whose stage performances delve heavily into sadistic, mutilating horror. Suddenly, two girls are murdered backstage by a clown. The Clowns and the crew are the prime suspects. When in costume The Clowns are indistinguishable, therefore the police set up a decoy to flush out the killer clown. The plan goes awry, and the killer clown is revealed on stage during one of the performances in front of the screaming fans.
