Teenvid Video Magazine was the forerunner to Teenpeople. Imagine a program where young stars are showcased and celebrated before the end of their 15 minutes of fame. Now, Teenvid resembles a who's who of early-'90s pop culture. The premiere episode features heartthrobs New Kids on the Block and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. The second installment includes Vanilla Ice, Debbie Gibson, and River Phoenix. By the third volume, the hits come fast and furious with Teenvid at the launch site. Interviews include Yo Yo, Gerardo, and Dweezil Zappa. Teenvid succeeds as slice-of-life viewing, taking viewers back more than a decade to remember some flamboyant one-hit wonders.
