Synopsis by Janiss Garza
A wealthy father (William McCall) goes to the pier to meet his son (Raymond McKee), who has been on a trip to Europe. Accompanying the father is the girl he wishes his son to marry (Thelma Parr). His son has other plans; he has met and fallen in love with a young Scottish lass (Alice Day) while on the ship. The father has serious doubts about this girl, since she is poor and is headed for the Harlem boarding house run by her aunt to work as a drudge. The girl manages to win the father over, however, when she discovers that he is a golf fanatic. The sport was invented in Scotland, and she is an expert at it. After a round at the local golf course, the father is impressed and he gives his son permission to marry his Scottish sweetheart.
