Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced and directed by Charles R. Seeling, a former cameraman, this minor action melodrama starred George Larkin, a Secret Service agent masquerading as a tango dancer in order to infiltrate a gang of smugglers. Larkin is about to make the arrest when one of the gang members kidnap his girlfriend (Doris Dare). In the film's climax, Larkin circles over the getaway car in an airplane, plucking the girl from the tonneau cover just as the vehicle crashes over a cliff. Dare was also known as Doris Prince. The blonde actress died in 1927 from what newspapers termed "a drug-related illness." Larkin's dance partner in Tango Cavalier was his off-screen wife, Ollie Kirby.
